Wall Mounted Transfer Chamber with Mechanical Interlock

PVC Double Door Wall Mounted Transfer Chambers are designed to enable chemical disinfection or sterilisation of materials transferred from an uncontrolled area (dirty side) into a controlled area (clean side).

The transfer chambers are manufactured complete with connection and sealing flanges to enable installation through a suitable aperture in a wall, partition or door and provides a hermetic seal between the two areas when fitted.  A range of standard sizes are available or custom manufactured to specific requirements.

Standard Features

  • Thermally formed and welded clear PVC body with integral door seal and fixed wall connection flange.
  • Separate two section slot-over flange creates a clamp seal to the wall, partition or door.
  • Clear Perspex inner and outer doors with stainless steel hinges and compression latch.
  • Larger chamber doors are reinforced with a stainless steel frame.
  • Stainless steel mechanical interlock system to prevent both doors from being opened at the same time.

Optional Features

  • Chamber body can be manufactured from stainless steel.
  • Internal stainless steel/PVC shelving.
  • Sleeve ports - can be fitted to the inner and outer doors and side walls to allow the operator to manipulate the load during disinfectant spray procedures with doors closed and interlock engaged.
  • HEPA filtered connection system can be fitted to enable load decontamination/sterilisation using a Bioquell or Steris H2O2 Bio-Decontamination Unit.
  • Chamber body support frame provides additional support for an exceptionally long chamber body.
