Walk Through Chamber for VHP/Fogging Disinfection of Large EquipmentWalk-Through Disinfection Chambers are designed for the chemical disinfection or sterilisation of large equipment and materials during transfer from an uncontrolled area (dirty side) into a controlled area (clean side), using either Vapour Phase H2O2 Generators, Electric Disinfectant Foggers or Integral Disinfectant Spray Systems.
The Disinfection Chambers are manufactured entirely from stainless steel and designed to suit individual customer requirements.
Stainless steel doors and surrounding fascia panels can be finished to match adjacent equipment finishes, for example autoclave panelling.
The chamber and doors are electronically interlocked to prevent opening both at the same time or out of sequence. The PLC control system also provides timed disinfection cycles which can be programmed to suit transfer requirements.
Standard Features
- Chamber and doors manufactured from grade 316 stainless steel with design and dimensions to suit individual requirements.
- Inner and outer doors with toughened glass view panels and fitted with camlock couplings compatible with Bioquell and Steris Bio-Decontamination Unit hoses.
- Door hinging to suit requirements.
- Support framework manufactured in stainless steel.
- Emergency door release button fitted to the inside of the chamber for safety purposes.
- PLC controlled electronic interlock system controls door locks, ventilation (where fitted), all electrical systems and also provides a range of timed cycles for H2O2 and disinfectant spray decontamination/sterilisation.
- Operator interfaces comprise of high quality illuminated push-button cycle control switches and illuminated LCD control panel, displaying cycle mode and cycle minutes remaining.
- Internal circulation fan fitted to ensure distribution of disinfectant vapour.
- IP66 rated electrical socket, integral to the inside wall of the chamber, provides electrical power for the disinfectant generator.
- Perforated stainless steel floor grids are fitted inside the chamber and fold down ramps for ease of loading and unloading of equipment.
- Sealed/flush mounted fluorescent lighting integral to the chamber ceiling panel.
