BioFlex® B50 Rigid Body Poultry Isolator

BioFlex^® B50 Rigid Body Isolator, providing a secure contained negative pressure environment for housing poultry.

The isolator is designed for compliance with UK ADCP CL3 and SAPO 4 requirements.  Birds are housed within the main body of the isolator on a stainless steel mesh floor.  The B50 design provides excellent operator access and visibility over the internal workspace.

Standard Features

• Isolator base manufactured from high quality thermally formed and welded 12mm thick white PVC material.  The B50 is also available with the base section manufactured from welded and formed 3mm thick stainless steel sheet with a polished finish.
• Rigid bubble type clear acrylic canopy provides excellent all round visibility and light penetration of the internal workspace.  The canopy can be detached from the base when cleaning the isolator.
• 400mm square Transfer Port fitted to the left or right side of the isolator, with clear Perspex hinged inner and outer doors (inner door is flush mounted).
• Four 250mm diameter circular glove ports with gloved PVC sleeves or optional latex or neoprene gauntlets, are integral to the font and back base panels, providing operator access to all areas within the isolator.
• Integral stainless steel drain, with high quality ball valve fitted to the base of the isolator for disposal of waste and fluid after decontamination.
• Gas and watertight quick-connect couplings for drinking water and water spray-down hoses are sealed through the isolator wall, (optional line filters and three-stage water filtration system with UV disinfector available).
• High quality and robust stainless steel base trolley provides a stable mobile platform for the isolator.
• HEPA filtered ventilation system (H14  HEPA filters compliant to BS EN1822). Large capacity safe to change exhaust filters.  Supply and exhaust fans are 24VDC, with individual speed control for precise adjustment to the air pressure and flow rates.
• Secure, compact electrical enclosure provides a single point for all gauges, switches, 24VDC power supply and electrical controls.
• Integral alarm system provides visual and audible warning in the event of canopy pressure failure.
• Automatic battery back-up system provides up to 24 hours back-up to the fans in the event of mains electrical failure.

Special Equipment Included

• Additional In Series Safe To Change HEPA Exhaust Filter - HEPA panel filter located inside the isolator body and is protected by a stainless steel mesh and pre-filter.  The safe to change system provides double in line HEPA exhaust filtration for bio-hazardous and toxic hazard applications.  Exhaust pre filter and primary HEPA filter can be changed and bagged-out safely without breaking containment.
• Special Drinker Assembly - Complete with spill tray, flexible PVC water supply tubing and connection valve, sealed through the isolator body.
• Feeder Hopper Assembly - Provided as a freestanding unit on the isolator floor.
• Dark Emitter Heat Lamp - Provides an additional direct heat source inside the isolator for chicks and younger birds.
• Digital Thermohygrometer - Fitted to a special bird-proof stainless steel holder located on the inside wall of the isolator.  Provides a continuous display of both temperature and humidity, recording minimum and maximum values over a 24 hour period.

Electronic Adjustable Height Base Trolley, Germicidal Pass-Through Dunk-Tank and Three Stage Water Filtration System with UV Disinfector.
